This Privacy Policy explains how the Footlytics mobile application ("Footlytics", "the app", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

• If you sign up with email: your email address, an optional display name, and your password. The password is handled by Google Firebase Authentication and is never visible to us.
• If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and Google account identifier, as shared by Google.
• If you continue as a guest: an anonymous account identifier.

App data

• Your favorite teams.
• App preferences such as language, theme and notification settings. These are stored on your device.

Purchase information

• When you subscribe, payments are processed by Google Play (or the Apple App Store). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
• Our subscription provider, RevenueCat, receives your purchase status and an anonymous user identifier so it can unlock Premium features.

Notifications

• If you allow notifications, a device push token is used to send you daily updates in your app language.
• You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

Usage and device data

• We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used: screens viewed, app version, device model, operating system, approximate region and crash information.
• This data is not used to identify you personally.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• create and manage your account,
• provide football analysis, forecasts and match details,
• save your favorite teams and preferences,
• unlock and manage your Premium subscription,
• send notifications you have allowed,
• improve the app's stability and features.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

3. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers located in the European Union (europe-west1). We use industry-standard security measures provided by Google Cloud. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

4. Data retention and deletion

• Your account data is kept for as long as your account exists.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and your saved data, such as favorite teams.
• Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel subscriptions in Google Play or the App Store.
• You can also request deletion by contacting us (see Contact us).

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Children

Footlytics is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Disclaimer

Footlytics provides statistical football analysis for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not offer betting or gambling services, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of any forecast.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
