Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Footlytics mobile application ("Footlytics", "the app", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

Footlytics provides statistical football analysis, including match forecasts, win probabilities, team form, head-to-head records and standings. Forecasts are generated automatically from publicly available sports and market data.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Footlytics. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. No gambling services, information only

• Footlytics is an information and entertainment service. It is not a betting, gambling or financial advice service.
• We do not accept bets, process wagers or link to gambling operators.
• Forecasts are probabilities, not guarantees. Past results do not guarantee future results.
• Any decision you make based on the app's content is your own responsibility. We are not liable for any losses that result from it.
• If you choose to gamble elsewhere, do so responsibly and only where it is legal for you.

4. Accounts

• You may use the app with an email account, Google Sign-In or as a guest.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account.

5. Subscriptions (Footlytics Premium)

• Plans: Premium is offered as weekly, monthly and 3-month auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country.
• Free trial: Some plans (currently monthly and 3-month) may include a free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged automatically. Free trials are available once per user, subject to store rules.
• Special offers: We may occasionally show one-time discounted offers. Their price and terms are shown before purchase.
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple App Store account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free trial.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and duration unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel at any time in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple according to their refund policies.
• Restore purchases: If you reinstall the app or change device, use "Restore purchases" in the app to regain access.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, redistribute or publish the app's forecasts or content for commercial purposes,
• scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app or its servers,
• use the app for any unlawful purpose,
• attempt to access other users' accounts or data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

• The app, its design, logo, text and generated analysis belong to Footlytics and are protected by applicable laws.
• Team names, league names and logos belong to their respective owners. They are used only to identify matches and do not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

8. Third-party data and services

• Sports data is provided by third parties, such as API-Sports.
• We try to keep data accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee it. Match times, scores and other information may contain errors or delays.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or that forecasts will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Footlytics is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of money, profits or data, arising from your use of the app. This includes any decisions you make based on its content.

11. Changes to the app and these Terms

• We may change, suspend or discontinue features of the app at any time.
• We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
